well the title says it all folks, i want to know where to find good sound affects like Gun sounds Swords, stuff you here in the MC series. [and when i say 'good' sound afects i dont mean crapy ones that are... well crapy]
okay, SLIPZ, i kno your reading this so all i need you to do is tell me the place where you get good gun sounds because you've done Annihilation and they have good sounds. ?? where do you get them ??
You can also go to Fpsbanana.com and download sound files for guns. Alot of the gun sounds like reloading and shooting come from games like Counter Strike Source sound files. That website has sounds for hundreds of guns.
i heaard if you have the game u can go to a sound effects page and download them all. and the place: www.fpsbanana.com that ibanez told me/us has lots of those sounds tooo. yah just go to that website and they have good stuff there, i download a bunch
Whether it's legal to use them I don't know, but I don't think many people have been sued over it. Valve has been getting bitchy though lately so you never know.
Hell ya its legal. I use them for everthing. Im on the Valve forum everyday. No sign of anyone being sued. Im Juggalo there. Im all over the place. steampowered.com check it out. Im a huge HL fan!!!!
Steam though... Shitty distribution system that discriminates against people that purchase CD's at the store. Pain in the ass system that REQUIRES a fast internet connection that simply isn't available in all places. I hate it. yes.
So true. But Steam creates more problems than good. I rather download my games from disk, and update them when I feel like it. And If I dont have the internets, I can play my mods and games. But with Steam I cant do that. On my gaming rig, I have no interets. So I cant play most of my games on Steam. Not to mention I cant update my games by downloading my patches on one PC and transporting them by flashdrive. Its a nice manager for games. But I wish it was an option to use Steam or not with games.
[quote][cite] Nillerz:[/cite]>I've had no problem with Steam. We have. Your good review doesn't really help their case. :\
Steam just limits everything too much and takes the technical aspects away from games. Gamers don't need it, they're forced to have it.
God bless steamulators.[/quote]
That's great Nillerz, but again, don't go off-topic.
Also if you guys got over Steam you'd realize it's probably one of the best game program thing whatever the fuck they're called, mostly because you can re-download games already registered. With other games, you have to search for the discs which can be a big pain in the ass.
Re-download games? Well, frankly, that's not any positive aspect whatsoever. I don't like downloading games unless there are no other options, it wastes bandwidth I should be using for other apps, and takes too long. Just let me buy the CD, and play. Also, if I lose the game, I can always download the iso. That's better than Steam, which is just an anti-piracy piece of shit.
